Description
The Construction Waste Disposal Charging Scheme (CWDCS) was implemented in 2005 and charging for disposal of construction waste started in January 2006. Since then, any person before using waste disposal facilities for disposal of construction waste needs to open an account by submission of application to EPD. The account holder will also need to submit application for issuance of Chits for disposal of construction waste, notification of changes in account information and closure of account after the completion of the construction works project.C.Easy is an in-house program/App developed by EPD has been used to handle and process e-Chit. User receive the e-chit on their phone, Upon arrival at the weighbridge of the waste disposal facility, User can turn on the Bluetooth function of the phone or use the QR code scanner installed in the weight Bridge to use the e-chit. The whole process is similar to using paper chits, but faster and easier! When the driver leaves the waste disposal facility after disposal of construction waste through the weighbridge, an electronic receipt will be sent to the driver and the main contractor, informing them the transaction is completed.
