5 ★Best App for young kids. My son is 7 and delayed and this app is really helping him. He actually asks to play this app so it is great to teach kids as it keeps them interested even while learning. This app works by teaching but at the same time making it a fun game so kids will want to learn. One of the best learning apps I have downloaded.
5 ★I have 6 kids and i have to say that finding something that keeps their intetest is not an easy thing to do. My youngest are 2 & 4 and they love this app. I really like the hundreds of worksheets, activities and games. My daughter who is 4 played this game for over a hour and would not share with her little brothet, Great job kids she is hard one to entertain.
5 ★My little guy just loves playing on my phone. I often feel bad when he uses it to entertain himself. Well that was until I found this app. He cannot get enough of it! Prior to downloading this app, he had mastered the alphabet song, but had yet to match up the names to the letters. A few days on this app and he has a real grasp of which letter is which and even some words that begin with each letter. I love to watch while he is using this app to develop his reading skills. Next onto math and writing.
5 ★This app is fantastic! I find these days all children have a phone in their hand. Whether it is their own or their parents. Why not make the phone educational? Why not giving them the extra nudge they need before entering school? This app teaches them so many different things. And I guarantee you will LOVE it!!
5 ★One of the things I love about this app is the repetitive writing. I noticed right away when tracing numbers and letters Kids Academy has the child doing it twice, and as many know repetitive learning is very effective. My children know their letters and numbers but also need to practice the motion of writing. This app is great for that. There are also other great growing games and activities that help my kids sound out words and learn basic math. Plus it's FUN!!
5 ★Being the homeschooling mother of a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old, finding educational options in toys, apps, and entertainment is a must. We have learned to embrace technology in school, while traveling, and definitely during quiet time. I allow a certain amount of screen time a day, and with most of their apps being educational, I rest easy. I have changed that up a little since downloading this app. They now are allowed a certain amount of time in addition to that to play Kids Academy Preschool education center. Building and reinforcing the skills needed for preschool and kindergarten are essential for any child. The Montessori method is one that has been tested and proven time and time again. That is part of what makes this app so successful. This app is very entertaining for kids and keeps their attention, while still teaching them. I love that it includes such a variety of skills- like writing, reading, and math. The parents' panel is my favorite part of the app, I can have both of my kids set up and they can do the activities that are suited for their age and it progresses with them! It is safe, kid- friendly, parent approved, and definitely kid approved.
5 ★The girls love the app. One loves reading the other loves math. Together they can't get enough of it. And it works on iOS and Android so we can switch back and forth between devices. They love the games and don't realize they're learning - they think they're just playing a game.
5 ★This is another great learning app. Not only do we use it as a game, the kids are busy learning and have no idea, We get a kick out of the money mosters, they are awesome. For me keeping Devons mind going and learning is a plus. He knows how to count out money, this keeps him great at it. A plus for me is that they have printable work sheets, so I can print them up and have Devon do them. We love all the Kids Academy apps. !!
5 ★We are BIG fans of Kids Academy at our house. Every app of theirs we've downloaded and reviewed have been loved by my kids, and have impressed me. My only wish is that there was at least 1 complete free part- instead of introductions of only a few letters or numbers. But for a few dollars you can get the whole shabang! #mombuzz
5 ★Love this simple yet wonderful app. It kept my kids busy and It made me happy that they are not wasting their time in those useless apps that are loud and teaches kids nothing. The perfect music and clear and easy voice has been used. Teaching them how to pronounce the alphabets correctly with interesting pictures is, I think in this age and time a great way. It has reading , writing and some stories in the free version. I really like it a lot
5 ★Nice App for preschool and kindergarten age kids. There is free material and in app purchases but your kids can have fun with the free content. The learning games are Montessori based and kids will play games and activities that will help them learn to spell, write and form letters correctly and read! The music and fun let kids really enjoy themselves while learning. The learning level will go up as your child becomes more proficient at skills. Helpful hints are given if your child gets stuck on something. The curriculum was developed and reviews by a preschool education expert which makes this mom of 5 feel good.
1 ★At first glance this app seems wonderful, but after using it for a while and trying the free trial I have found it not so. The format is irritating and difficult for a 3 year old to navigate. The writing practice parts are a bit ridiculous because it expects them to draw perfectly straight lines otherwise it tells them they're messing it up. He's 3. His lines are going to be wiggly. Disappointed.
