Der STAkis App liegt die umfassende TecDoc Datenbank mit den Originaldaten der Teilehersteller zugrunde. Diese weltweit einzigartige Datenbank verfügt derzeit über 41.000 Fahrzeuge, 2,7 Millionen dazu verknüpfter Artikelinformationen und 1,2 Millionen Bilder von über 400 Marken.Zu jedem Artikel werden in der App alle relevanten Informationen wie zum Beispiel technische Eigenschaften oder Produktabbildungen angezeigt. Die Anwendung eignet sich für den Einsatz in Werkstatt, Handel und Industrie.
Anwender können schnell und gezielt über eine Nummerneingabe nach einem Fahrzeugteil oder einem Fahrzeug suchen und ermitteln, in welche Fahrzeuge das Ersatzteil passt bzw. welche Teile für das Fahrzeug benötigt werden.
Mögliche Suchkriterien für eine schnelle Teileidentifkation sind eine beliebige Nummer, die Artikelnummer, eine OE-Nummer, die Gebrauchsnummer oder die Vergleichsnummer. Alternativ lassen sich über den Registerreiter "PKW" Fahrzeuge ohne Schlüsselnummer suchen.
