Description

Touch icon and put the phone on silent mode, touch again and back to previous profile. Mute all (ringer, audio/video players, notifications ...) except alarm.
Put application shortcut on wallpaper to quick switch MUTE ON/OFF.

How to install Mute. APK on Android phone or tablet?

4 ★Thanks for this! I have been crying my eyes out because i had no volume and it was so hard without volume again thanks! 🥺

5 ★So many apps sneak their way past the device's sound settings but Mute saves the day! Now I'm not waking my husband with startling ad noises from games that supposedly have sounds turned off! The only thing missing would be the ability to white-list other apps, like a music player or audible e-reader so that I could listen to something on a sleep timer while falling asleep.

4 ★It works as it should, sometimes lags a little on my phone but most the time perfect. If an update ever happens again then maybe add a settings menu for other options like suggested choice of what to silent and keep the widget as it is now as a 1 tap mute (most of the time) 😊

3 ★Does what it says on the tin: toggles mute on/off and restores the ringer volume to how it was before when turned off. My one gripe is it also mutes media when turned on or off; it's a practical app, but one has to turn media volume back up after most uses.

4 ★Easy to use, widget can be easily moved to home screen. My only complaint is that when I turn the mute off I always have to readjust my volume settings to where I like them. Not sure if it's me that is just not so tech savvy, my phone or the app itself.

5 ★Lightweight, easy to use, does what it says- no more, no less. I keep it as a toggle in my pull-down notifications bar, one tap at the movies or in meetings & I'm all set. For me, it's perfection.

1 ★I installed this app in hopes that it would mute my phone. But it didn't. I made a video call in messenger which I wanted to be a silent call, but this app didn't mute it. I could still hear everything. So I'll keep looking for a true "mute" app.

5 ★Exactly what I am looking for. No UI just toggles mute on off when you run this app. More importantly it doesn't need a widget. Could configure this to run on double click side button action on my galaxy note 10 plus to easily toggle between mute and sound modes.

5 ★The one thing that I like about Apple more than Android is the handy side switch to silence your phone. Since that's not an option since going back to Android, I found this app and it's just as easy to use, and it's never let me down.
