L’ App Mapa Continu de Trànsit del Servei Català de Trànsit permet consultar l'estat del trànsit en temps real incorporant les incidències viàries de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona, de la Dirección General de Tráfico en les zones limítrofes i del Govern d’Andorra. En el cas de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona i el Govern d’Andorra també es poden consultar les seves càmeres.També permet la realització dels tràmits de trànsit com:
- Consulta dels meus expedients
- Identificació de conductor/a
- Pagament de sancions
- Presentació d'al·legacions del procediment sancionador de trànsit
Els objectius són:
- Facilitar l'accés del ciutadà als serveis del SCT des un mitjà mòbil.
- Mitjançant l'ús de codis QR permetre al ciutadà realitzar els seus tràmits relacionats amb els expedients sancionadors de trànsit.
- Donar una visió mòbil del Mapa Continu de Trànsit
- Contribuir a la millora de la seguretat viària i evitar distraccions.
- Aprofitar l’impacte de les noves tecnologies a favor de la mobilitat segura.
