O DOGAĐAJU: Surduk trek – Baranja je lakša verzija orijentacijskog trčanja koja nas vraća u početke orijentacijskog sporta kada karte nisu bile precizne i sa svim detaljima terena po kojem se kreće. Lakša je samo u formi, dok u najjačim kategorijama iziskuje znano više izdržljivosti i snage te ju možemo okarakterizirati kao Ultra long orienteering! Moguće je kretati se u grupi, i pri tome trčati ili brzo hodati. Osim toga stazu se može proći na nogama ili brdskim biciklom. Vrijeme prolaska staze je ograničeno na 12 sati. Na stazi imaju točke osvježenja (3-4) na kojima vam svoje domaće proizvode (sokove, vina, rakiju, kolače, voće i mnogo drugoga) nude (besplatno) mali proizvođači sa obiteljskih poljoprivrednih gospodarstava. Takav oblik točaka za osvježenje je produkt suradnje sa LAG-om Baranja koji promiče vrijednosti ruralnog područja Baranje i želimo našim natjecateljima iz raznih krajeva ponuditi nešto posebno, domaće. Za uspomenu na našu utrku svaki natjecatelj dobija majicu sa logom utrke na poklon, a dok se čeka proglašenje biti će posluženi obrokom.
Obvezna oprema koju natjecatelji nose je: kompas, karta (dobije od organizatora), kontrolni karton (dobije od organizatora), voda ili isotonični napitak, hrana (energetske pločice, gelovi…), mobitel.
