La contea del Rogaland, di cui Stavanger è il capoluogo, fu tra le prime ad essere liberata dalle glaciazioni e si presuppone che sia stata abitata fin da circa 10.000 anni fa.
Stavanger ha una ricca offerta di attività culturali, un festival jazz nel mese di maggio e vanta un'ottima ricettività turistica ed alberghiera e....il resto scopritelo nel video di questa app-guida.
