Description

Instead of being connected to a DX cluster directly you can use DX Alert to monitor the cluster and/or the reverse beacon network for you and get notifications on your phone or tablet when a DX is spotted that matches the rules you set up.

How to install DX Alert APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download DX Alert APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

Go to Downloads

Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files
Tap the APK file you downloaded (com.protechdev.DXAlert-v1.137-ApkClean.apk)
Tap Install when prompted, the APK file you downloaded will be installed on your device.

1 ★Works great! .. one enhancement I wish it had was an expiry date on a callsign.. if it autodeleted the call on an entered date, say when a dxpedition completed it would be awesome! Update 01Dec16 - keeps giving Network Error after loading ad... no Solar data, no callsigns.....

3 ★How do I tell what alerts I have already entered? When I use "Edit Alerts" it only allows me to add new ones. Very slow UI to do so.

5 ★With very good filters it is possible to get an alert for interesting and doable calls/countries/continents. Has helped me snag a few countries that were on the wishlist!

5 ★Comfortable for use; the only one that I found, able to alert the specific call on given band/ mode.

5 ★Love it! A button to go from the "edit subscriptions" screen to the "matched spots" screen, and a paid version to get rid of the banner ad would make it perfect. Ad is not intrusive, but would be nice to get rid of it. Oh, and maybe a button to put it in standby when not in use, like when you're sleeping.
