Eksplorasi Karangsambung adalah aplikasi mobile yang dikembangkan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai sejarah cagar alam geologi karangsambung, singkapan batuan, layanan jasa serta jelajah museum batuan yang berada di Balai Informasi dan Konservasi Kebumian Karangsambung - LIPI. Aplikasi ini menyediakan informasi :- Informasi mengenai sejarah cagar alam karangsambung, Lokasi dan infromasi kekayaan alam yang ada di dalamnya
- Peta singkapan batuan serta Navigasi ke lokasi singkapan batuan yang ada di karangsambung
- Informasi mengenai layanan jasa yang ada di LIPI karangsambung
-Jelajah museum batuan yang ada di LIPI karangsambung dengan menggunakan QR-Code pada ponsel pintar android. Untuk menggunakan fitur ini pengunjung harus berada di lokasi museum karangsambung LIPI
Untuk dapat menjalankan aplikasi ini di ponsel pintar android dibutuhkan fitur camera, akses data internet dan GPS (Global Positioning System)
