Pedoman Operasional Penilaian Angka Kredit Kenaikan Pangkat dan Sistem Penilaian Angka Kredit Dosen.Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia Nomor 92 Tahun 2014 tentang Petunjuk Teknis Pelaksanaan Penilaian Angka Kredit Jabatan Fungsional Dosen dan Angka Kreditnya.
Kenaikan jabatan akademik dosen merupakan bentuk pemberian penghargaan pemerintah atas prestasi kerja yang dicapai dosen, dengan demikian setiap dosen yang telah mempunyai prestasi kerja sesuai dengan peraturan perundangan berhak mendapatkan penghargaan kenaikan jabatan akademik. Dasar dan mekanisme pemberian penghargaan kenaikan jabatan akademik/pangkat dengan filosofi pemberian penghargaan perlu dirumuskan sehingga adil, akuntabel dan bertanggung jawab.
Dalam pelaksanaan penilaian angka kredit dosen diberlakukan lima prinsip penilaian, yaitu: adil, obyektif, akuntabel, transparan dan bersifat mendidik serta otonom dan terjaminan mutunya.
