4 ★Been using App lock for a week now. Good App lock easy to use. One major down fail is that, after restarting your phone, the App lock does not activate for approximately 1min 30sec, leaving your apps unprotected during this time. I was able to open my apps with any pin or password.
5 ★Provides an extra layer of protection. It definitely stops you opening Apps without the PIN. It can be a bit annoying when you're trying to go between open apps as it will keep requesting a PIN.
2 ★Major bug! I was hoping this is better than the Norton app locker. This one locks the Microsoft Authenticator app automatically which I need at work. Bit I haven't locked it in this app?!!!! But trying to open the Authenticator the App Lock asks for password and doesn't then allow the Authenticator to use its own password.
3 ★That doesn't work. When you press the "add file to vault" , the list of files is NOT sorted and there is no way to sort them . They seem to be sorted randomly. If you do the "alt tab" type cycle through open apps, you can see the "hidden" stuff still. When I try to add videos to the hide folder, the files are not sorted descending in order of age and I can't find anyway to change the survey order. So I have to search visually through 300 videos to find the video I JUST created.
1 ★Very insecure. You can long-press on the icon and select "info" (Samsung) or drag over "info" (Motorola) and quickly start tapping on the place where "force close" appears and you can stop the app right away and the protection is gone.
1 ★The government vortex phone the united states is offering has a option on the quick access page that indicates apps open and in use. It has an option to shut off the app lock "active app" for "x" hours. This disables the entire app lock app exposing everything..... This is a government phone for indigent people are already suffering. Pretty critical issue.
2 ★Upon phone restart, the app doesn't auto start for around 3-5 minutes. So if you want to get around it, just restart the phone and you have up to 5 minutes to browse any restricted app. Other than that the features have been excellent and I was going to give it 5 stars, but I just happened to restart my phone and noticed this. Huge flaw and completely defeats the purpose.
1 ★After locking an app, just try to open the same app and return to homepage without entering the pin. Now check recent apps. You can see the first page of that locked app very clearly. No sense of such lock.
3 ★unable to move data from the gallery to this app directly without opening it, there must be an option to hide data directly or just tap via share. As well all files data not showing for hiding.
1 ★I would like to say that it was working but 😕 I didn't find the finger print section Then I wanted to delete it because I have another app whith works better the wen ever I try to delete it it reinstals it's selve in like 1 second and I don't want it so which is why I have actually removed acsses to lock apps whith that app thank you for your time
5 ★This app is really great, it effectively protects your apps, and even tho you give it a lot of control over your phone, it uses that control only to protect it.
5 ★Great app. But one common feature called add a password instead of 4 digit pin or pattern is missed. Please add a password option for app lock and appreciate if you can optimize more ram usage and battery consumption and add more camouflage icons.
