RECOIL (Retro Computer Image Library) is a viewer of pictures in native formats of vintage computers: Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Apple II, Atari 8-bit, Atari Portfolio, Atari ST/TT/Falcon, BBC Micro, Commodore VIC-20, Commodore 64, Commodore 16/116/Plus4, Commodore 128, Electronika BK, FM Towns, Macintosh 128K, MSX, NEC PC-80/88/98, Oric, Psion Series 3, Sam Coupé, Sharp X68000, Timex 2048, TRS-80, TRS-80 Color Computer, ZX81 and ZX Spectrum.

How to install RECOIL APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download RECOIL APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

Update Phone Settings

Go to your phone Settings page
Tap Security or Applications (varies with device)
Check the Unknown Sources box
Confirm with OK

Go to Downloads

Open Downloads on your device by going to My Files or Files

4 ★Amiga images still need to have .iff extensions and not .pic that PPaint uses by default. It would be nice if it read the file header info not not the extension to determine the type... I really don't want to rename everything just to view. No support for .anim files it seems.

5 ★It could be cool if the program could have a exit button and export a .neo file for example, to .png. Or other formats to other formats for that matter. Can we use from the program site, the images from the ,,examples,, archive, for non-comercial purpose ?

5 ★I do a lot of artwork on my Atari ST and this app is mana from heaven for speedy viewing and info of native art files. Zipped stuff too! Cannot recommend it highly enough.

4 ★I still have my Atari ST and Atari 8 bit and to be able to access all my old artwork is great .I hope Technicolor Dream LUM and COL files will be added to to this fine program .I hope this program will convert back to those old computers too that would be brilliant
