Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

2 ★weather info still links to mobile.weather.gov which was shut down in June.
1 ★Ok so today is 10/02/24. I click on "Emergency Shelters and Supplies" and it STILL says "SHELTERS WILL OPEN ON 9/25/24" All I can see is the outdated message from the LAST HURRICANE. Why isn't there a LIST so we can see what the shelters are AHEAD OF TIME???????? We need to have a list AHEAD OF TIME SO WE CAN PREPARE......... SOMEONE IS ASLEEP AT THE DESK AT READYJAX WHILE PEOPLE'S LIVES ARE IN THR LINE..............
2 ★Good general info, but.. The first thing I read at the top of the app is "For the latest information vist the web site." What do I need the app for? Just use the website.
1 ★Broken app won't work on a new Samsung
2 ★App freezes with latest update. Prior to this very good app.
2 ★Poorly optimized and in desperate need of maintenance (touch icons, loading times, scrolling issues & autofill function are a few I noticed off the bat). Amazing concept (I wish other states would adopt a similar system) and the body is there it just needs the TLC desperately.
5 ★User friendly
5 ★Most Area Info for Emergency Planning
5 ★Very accurate & very helpful
3 ★Slow to load and difficult to use at times
