Το Diabetes Quiz Academy είναι μια πρωτότυπη ιδέα για την ευαισθητοποίηση του συνόλου της κοινωνίας γύρω από το Σακχαρώδη Διαβήτη μέσω ενός social gaming app ερωτήσεων και απαντήσεων. Αποτελεί πρωτοβουλία της Πανελλήνιας Ομοσπονδίας Σωματείων – Συλλόγων Ατόμων με Σακχαρώδη Διαβήτη (ΠΟΣΣΑΣΔΙΑ), με στόχο τη μεγαλύτερη δυνατή ευαισθητοποίηση και την καλύτερη δυνατή ενημέρωση του κοινού. Η εφαρμογή έχει ως σκοπό να προσεγγίσει το κοινό με τρόπο ελκυστικό αυξάνοντας το δείκτη ενδιαφέροντος του και το συνολικό engagement γύρω από το Σακχαρώδη Διαβήτη. Αυτός ο τρόπος δεν είναι άλλος από το challenge σε ένα on-line παιχνίδι γνώσης! Στην πράξη οι συμμετέχοντες προσκαλούν και προσκαλούνται να παίξουν και μέσω των communication games να πληροφορούνται, να ενημερώνονται, να ευαισθητοποιούνται και να γίνονται πρεσβευτές του μηνύματος, που αφορά τον υγιεινό τρόπο ζωής, την πρόληψη και την αντιμετώπιση του Σακχαρώδη Διαβήτη, καθώς και την καταπολέμηση του στίγματος γύρω από τη χρόνια αυτή πάθηση.
