Aplikasi Kilas DPR adalah aplikasi sederhana yang memberikan informasi tentang pemerintahan dan pemilu pilkada, serta informasi seputar wakil rakyat di pemerintahan yaitu DPR dan DPRD.Dengan adanya aplikasi ini, diharapkan masyarakat dapat dengan mudah mengakses informasi mengenai wakilnya di pemerintahan dan informasinya , serta dapat memberikan kritik dan saran melalui kontak DPR RI yang telah disediakan. Data yang dipakai oleh aplikasi ini berasal dari API Pemilu dan Perludem (Perkumpulan untuk Pemilu dan Demokrasi).
Aplikasi ini memiliki beberapa fitur yaitu :
Kilas Berita
Berisi informasi dan berita yang terkait dengan pemerintahan, DPR, dan lembaga yang berada di dalamnya.
Infografik Berita
Berisi informasi yang disajikan dalam bentuk grafik ilustrasi sederhana dan jelas sehingga dapat dengan mudah dimengerti oleh setiap pembaca.
Anggota DPR/DPRD
Fitur untuk memperoleh informasi data diri anggota DPR atau DPRD yang telah terpilih untuk periode masa bakti 2014 sampai 2019. Disini pengguna dapat mencari anggota DPR berdasarkan fraksi partainya, dan juga dapat mencari anggota DPRD berdasarkan provinsi daerah pemilihannya.
Pernik DPR
Fitur yang berisi informasi mengenai Komisi DPR, Alat Kelengkapan Dewan, daftar fraksi-fraksi partai, dan daftar Daerah Pemilihan atau Dapil
Kontak DPR
Berisi informasi alamat dimana DPR RI berada. Selain itu dilengkapi dengan nomor telepon dan kontak email yang berguna untuk menyampaikan kritik dan saran dari masyarakat. Di halaman ini juga dicantumkan alamat akun sosial media resmi yang dimiliki oleh DPR RI.
Yang perlu diingat adalah aplikasi ini membutuhkan koneksi internet untuk mengambil data dan informasi yang disediakan oleh API Pemilu. Hal-hal mengenai API Pemilu dapat dilihat di http://pemiluapi.org dan http://perludem.org .
