ルールは通常の百人一首とほとんど同じです。読上モードでは音声で読み札が読み上げられ、文字モードでは読み札が上の句から下の句まで順に１文字づつ表示されていきますので、下の句が分かった瞬間に札を探して取りましょう。初期表示から開始ボタンを押すまでや札を取って次に開始ボタンを押すまではタイムに関係ありませんので、その間になるべく多くの取り札の場所を覚えておくと良いでしょう。
取り札は１０枚（初級）、３０枚（中級）、１００枚（上級）から選択できます。
お手つきは１回につき１０秒が加算されます。
