Con esta sencilla aplicación se puede estudiar el efecto fotoeléctrico a partir de la longitud de onda incidente de la luz.Se puede calcular la frecuencia y energía de los fotones incidentes, la frecuencia y longitud de onda umbral para diversos metales como Sodio, Potasio, Calcio entre otros.
La aplicación permite determinar si ocurre efecto fotoeléctrico y en caso afirmativo se muestran los valores de la energía cinética de los electrones emitidos y la velocidad que alcanzan.
Se consideran además los límites relativistas y se pueden calcular energías y velocidades coherentes con la teoría de la relatividad especial de Albert Einstein.
