Anadolu Üniversitesi Açıköğretim Fakültesi tarafından 2016-2017 eğitim yılından itibariyle 4 yanlış 1 doğruyu götürme uygulaması yürürlüğe konmuştur. İlgili uygulama yeni sistemde ortalama ve not hesaplanması yapmaktadır.Çoktan seçmeli sorulardan oluşan test sınavlarında beş şıklı olarak hazırlanan her bir test için doğru cevap sayısından yanlış cevap sayısının dörtte biri çıkartılır. Elde edilen sonuç ile bir sorunun puan değeri çarpılarak sınav notu hesaplanır. Sınav notu sıfırın altındaysa bu not sıfır olarak kabul edilir.
Yapılan sınavlar sonucunda ara sınav notunun %30’u, dönem sonu sınav notunun %70’i alınarak “Başarı Notu” hesaplanır.
2019-2020 öğretim yılı bahar döneminden itibaren geçerli olacak şekilde “Başarı Notu” alt sınır değeri 35 olup Anadolu Üniversitesi Açıköğretim Sisteminde harf notları, dersin alındığı ilgili dönemdeki Anadolu Üniversitesi Açıköğretim, İktisat ve İşletme Fakülteleri Öğrenci Değerlendirme Sistemi Esaslarına göre belirlenmektedir.
