Solmisasi juga dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu untuk menciptakan lagu. Nada-nada yang terlintas dalam benak Anda dapat langsung di catatkan ke dalam bentuk notasi dan lirik. Shortcut nada beserta ketukannya sangat membantu dalam menciptakan sebuah lagu.
