Bolalikdan ijodga chanqoq Ali "Orom" bolalar guruhining solisti bo'lib, 13 yoshida Hindistonda bo'lib o'tgan "Bxaman" festivalida, 15 yoshida esa Italiyada bo'lib o'tgan yoshlar festivalida ishtirok etib keldi. Maktabni tugatgandan so'ng Ali Otajonov Xamza Hakimzoda Niyoziy nomidagi musiga kollejini bitirdi. Hozirda esa Toshkent Davlat Sharqshunoslik institutining turk filologiyasi fakulteti talabasi bo'libgina qolmay, o'z ijodini boyitishda davom etib kelmoqda. Uning 10 dan ortiq qo'shiqlari bor. "Sevgi" va "Kelinchak" qo'shiqlari xozirgi kunda xit darajasiga yetdi.
