Anvar G'aniyev 1966-yil 19-yanvar kuni Toshkent viloyatining Chirchiq shahrida ziyolilar oilasida tavallud topdi. Maktab bilan bir vaqtning o'zida musiqa maktabining akkardion bo'limida tahsil oldi. Maktab tadbirlari va bayramlarda, shahar tadbirlarida qo'shiq ijro etib kelgan. Maktabni tugatgandan so'ng Anvar G'aniyev Toshkent Davlat Madaniyat institutiga o'qishga kiradi. Anvar G'anievning ilk bor O'zbekiston kanali orqali namoyish etilgan "Ko'ngil ko'chalari" filmida "Ko'nglim" nomli qo'shiqni ijro etdi va bu qo'shiq juda mashhur bo'lib xit taronaga aylandi desak adashmaymiz. Shundan so'ng "Jayron nega ko'zing to'la yosh" qo'shig'i ham xit taronaga aylandi. Xonanda hozirgi kunga qadar 300dan ortiq qo'shiqlarini, 20ga yaqin kliplarini va "Oh sevaman", "O'zim hofiz", "Dunyo" kabi albomlarini o'z muhlislariga taqdim eta oldi. Anvar G'aniyev qo'shiq kuylabgina qolmay, milliy seriallarimizda ham ishtirok etib kelmoqda. Rejissyorlar San'at Qayumovning "Nikoh uzugi", Zebo Navro'zovaning "Do'stimning to'yi", Feruza Egamberdiyevaning "Saboq" filmida xonanda o'zining soundtrek qo'shig'ini ijro etdi. Xonanda 2001-yilda O'zbekistonda xizmat ko'rsatgan artist unvoniga sazovor bo'ldi.Ushbu ilovada san`atkorning:
