3 ★Game is a 5 star game. It's similar to other games of its type, so it was easy for me to understand what I needed to do. Play is fun even for someone who doesn't want to pay. My issue with this game comes from the lags, crashes.. After installing this game, not only does the game severely lag a lot and crash at times. *Issue is now worse than ever..crashes in the middle of my battles. Won't even let me submit issue ticket because it says not authorized after clicking submit.
1 ★Don't install, once you pass lower levels, you are subjected to a minimum of 5 weekly updates there are more pop ups to buy things (7), before you get to the play screen! I finally had to unininstall it because it is not worth the space it takes up. Every review echoes my sentiments and then some...you open the game, *update or cannot proceed* you update and have to go through 7 "pay for" pop ups before you see the game if you are at 2500 pts any enemy is twice that amount! Don't bother
3 ★PRO: 1) Great concepts, art and animation. 2) Decently immersive gameplay. 3) Mostly creative character design. 4) Not-very-annoying construction and maintenance of your city (only a bit slow.) CON: 1) Completely pay-to-win. You won't get anywhere without sinking a lot of money into in-game currency. There is no casual option of note. 2) ADSPAM for pay-to-win options. You have to click through 7 or more in a row. 3) Too many in-game currencies to count. 4) Often irritating sound design.
2 ★Ugh... I really wanted to like this game, but between the fact that you have to PAY to remove equipment from heroes, the amount of resources you lose in a raid loss, PvP being COMPLETELY unbalanced (5000+ power disparity on occasion + high reroll cost)... I just can't get into it. It's a shame, as the art style and story are at least moderately engrossing, but you can feel how grind based the gameplay will be within the first 5 missions. Microtransaction heavy as well for progression.
1 ★The gameplay is fun, but the amount of trophies you receive for a raid vs how many you risk is ridiculous, and this game is a serious money pit. No game should allow users to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars when you don't even own anything at the end. The are so many fun games that don't require buckets of cash just play one of those. Edit: it should be based on the power of the team not the league but either way it's a greedy game that charges far too much and gives far too little.
4 ★Just started playing and I really like the campaign. If it was just a hero and campaign game it would be 5*. Not a fan of kingdom building and clans. Turns into a money grab real quick from past experiences with these games. The heros you gain along the way kind of suck, but they are free so understandable. Won't be spending any money so I'll enjoy the game until the pay wall hits and I'll delete like all the others. Enjoy :)
2 ★I normally don't comment on gaming apps but I have to put my 2 cents in on this one. One of the most beautiful games out there, but by far one of the most money hungry. Just to log in you're hit with 6 or 7 different pay windows. The power curve on the opponents are too steep. Just to play campaign opponents goes from 3000 to 3200 in the next level? How the hell can we bump up 200 power level on next level unless you PAY MONEY!!! IF YOU HAVE MONEY TO BURN, THIS IS THE GAME FOR YOU!!!
4 ★This... Isn't a bad game. If you're a fan of Empires & Puzzles, it's essentially the same game. Seasonal events and chances to get more and powerful characters.... But you can upgrade.... SOME of them. However, the Raids are practically 1-sided and allows people who throw money into the game to take precedence and steam roll competition. Raids are my biggest gripe, because once the opposing team strikes, you practically get wiped out, making it unfun. Just can't use anymore time on this.
2 ★Heavy micro transaction game. Won't get far for long with out dropping a lot of money and they designed it that way. Also the device like to do maintenance all the time and when they do that it loose all progress you did before. Edit: now they respond on here saying they restored what was lost but that's a lie. When emailed they said there was nothing they could do to fix what was lost.
1 ★They only do it on some levels so they try to make the player spend money to buy energy. Revamp this and maybe it will be a better rating. The PvP is totally unfair...the attacker gets one turn while the defender gets multiple turns....if the attacker only gets one move then the defense should only get one move...the matching also suks. Money game...they start out giving you good characters but very little room. To upgrade them you need 10 Characters just to get high level..DONT WASTE YOUR TIME
1 ★It updates too much and it so hard to beat the levels. When I try to raid someone it always puts me against someone 10 times higher than me and it takes most of my coins just to get someone close to my power level. The green gems and power stones are so hard to get so it takes forever to level one character up. It's to difficult to get five stars to level your characters up any higher than five star. I don't recommend this game.
3 ★I want to give it more stars but there are a handful of things working against it. There aren't any ads but everytime I open the game they show the featured in app purchases and they start to stack so I have to click through 9 individual ads before accessing the game. Also the Raid mode (PVP) feels super unbalanced between defense heroes overpowered abilities and the match 3 limiting your teams actual offensive output. Overall it's a fun game that can be grinded but not for me.
