Bahasa Banyumasan atau sering disebut Bahasa Ngapak (oleh masyarakat di luar Banyumas) adalah kelompok bahasa yang dipergunakan di wilayah barat Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Beberapa kosakata dan dialeknya juga dipergunakan di Banten utara serta daerah Cirebon-Indramayu.Bahasa Banyumasan terkenal dengan cara bicaranya yang khas. Dialek ini disebut Banyumasan karena dipakai oleh masyarakat yang tinggal di wilayah Banyumasan.
Permainan kata yang terdiri dari huruf-huruf membentuk kata dalam bahasa dialek "ngapak" Banyumasan yang ditempatkan dalam kotak,memiliki bentuk persegi dan dalam bebagai ukuran matrik.
Pencarian kata bisa dilakukan dengan menyentuh huruf pertama sampai akhir secara mendatar, menurun dan diagonal. Susunan kata bisa berurutan bahkan bisa saja terbalik untuk memberi tantangan bagi pemain.
