Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★Great app for anyone I am from New Zealand so I already know quite a good amount of Maori but is amazing for any skill level
5 ★So clear and repetitive for a learner like me. Excellent
5 ★This app is so good I know so much moari already and if only had it for a few days!!
5 ★I really enjoyed this and look forward to playing with my kids.
1 ★Sound has failed 3 hours after I purchased it
4 ★Interesting and slick design, a fun way to drill vocabulary. The words are broken up in strange ways sometimes (for example, they often separate n and g, which are a single sound, so it's easy to "cheat" some of the words). I may come back and change the rating up or down depending on how the later levels are.
5 ★I've only had it 2 days but this is just what I wanted - good pronunciation to copy and mini games (matching names to pictures etc.). Really happy as it was difficult finding anything for Maori so I wasn't sure if this existed. One thing I would say to make it better is a mini lesson on the different sounds. From reading online I saw the vowels sound like: A = the 'a' in car | E = the 'e' in egg | I = the 'ee' in tee | O = the 'o' in four | U = the 'o' in to, which really helped starting, enjoy!
3 ★The app is ok, not spectacular. It's more of a word memory game, which is useful for learning vocabulary, but AFAICT it doesn't teach anything like grammar or structure. The algorithm for splitting words looks generic and would work better if it was aware of Māori phonology. And the incessantly nagging notifications that I can't turn off do not have the intended effect.
5 ★I really like this language app. I just wish it had multiple icons to use as examples of individual words. Or photo examples perhaps, as I find some of the icons confusing or poor representations from time to time. Also, hook me up with a free year for the great suggestion! ;)
3 ★Not for beginners with no prior exposure to the language. The idea is fantastic, short "drops" of time regularly, but it does start straight off with some very large complicated words. I am struggling a bit and I've grown around basic Te Reo. It is beautifully made and easy to use though.
3 ★Breaks Maori words mid syllable in exercises. ie. par - aku - ihi. Not cool
4 ★I want to give this ap 5 stars but a lot of the questions involve matching a word to a picture, which means I have to not only learn the word, but also learn what the picture means. Easy with food, animals, colours etc. Less easy when trying to learn greetings etc. Just having the English translation with the pictures would be sooo helpful for the greetings (or the ability to switch to see the pic in english) Otherwise I am really enjoying the ap and finding the format super easy and satisfying
