1 ★Amber Weather, they just took my money and ran. I subscribed so I can get rid of the full page ads but when that didn't happen I unsubscribed almost immediately but they didn't refund me my initial payment of $5.99. So I paid for an app I don't even have installed on my phone because they lied when they claimed it will be ad free if I subscribe. I did everything they asked me to, clean the cache, sent screenshots, etc. but never heard from them again, disgusting. Be careful dealing with them.
2 ★Had this app for a VERY long time and was very happy with it until the ads got out of control. They have prevented me from getting pictures of my baby's firsts because I HAVE TO WAIT TO CLOSE THE POPUP MOVING ADS (IT PUTS YOU ON A TIMER NOW!!) to quick launch my camera, and I MISS great moments!! I can't do anything on my phone until I close the ad because it takes up the whole screen before displaying the pop-up for the following day's weather. Also, sometimes the ADS randomly PLAY. And, the stupid moving ones make my phone go off SUPER LOUD which is awful. They've even gone off in the middle of the night when locking my phone causing both myself and my sleeping Husband to jump in bed. Not to mention they have woken up our sleeping baby!! Sometimes, they take awhile to close while blaring. It's become ridiculous!! The actual app itself is wonderful. Due to the increasingly horrible ads, I'm sadly seriously contimplating uninstalling. I definitely would not recommend it to anyone, anymore. Before, I would have given it 5 Stars.
2 ★(Edited: was a 5 star app; this app/widget doesn't work anymore. it stopped updating the time and weather for a few days, now it's just blank.....this started right after the last android update. will update review if starts to work again) Great app! Use the widget on my homescreen. Wish i could open the app from the widget, it just changes the appearance when i click on it.
1 ★Long time stingy free user, we are spoiled nowadays by such quality free apps. I was one of those people who actually liked the regular self opening feature, because I tend to be forgetful and won't check all info offered unless its shoved in my face. For years has been great. That said, why in God's name would you start letting a weather app play ads with audio after opening on its own? Is this the more aggressive way of encouraging people to pay for the app? I'll use a different free app.
4 ★Helping out with the results of the weather and very easy to use. One should give it a try.
1 ★The location is not accurate at all .. I have been using this app for years and it was so good, but when I tried it on my new phone, it sucks ! it gives me a completely different location than mine, which in return gives me wrong forecast! Also, it doesn't want to add the widget! Erroooooor every time .. so devastated 💔💔
1 ★The update of the conditions by city seems to lag just a little. Also the developers should probably remove the "removes ads" claim under the description of what one gets with a subscription to the service. As I found out that the annoying ads stay in even with a paid subscription. Bummer. Update : unfortunately I was driven to uninstall the app due to intrusive ADWARE appearing over my home screen when I wake the screen. Will not install again OR renew subscription in a year. Have fun with the$
1 ★loved it for last 4 phones. wonderful operation and accurate. UNTIL last month when widget no longer workimg consistemtly. Constant freeze of time. constant inacurate location. Loss of widget altogether on restart/startup. have to remove and add new to screen. Used to be great, but giving up and getting another app that works.
1 ★I can't do it anymore. It's the same story as the last couple of times I tried to use this. It will start out okay then start to force close. Can't do anything because of the notifications that keep popping up. Takes strategic planning to get to where you can uninstall. Guess it's back to my beautiful widgets. Even without updates for years it doesn't do this.
1 ★Mostly Clickbait. The app shows so many promises, mainly with its widgets and "awesome" weather service, but it's just another fake app that doesnt even tell as much as the weather correctly. Refrain from this app as it's just to get downloads and ad revenue. Speaking of, I have never used a weather app that literally slaps a 30 second long ad in your face. What if someone needs to check the weather to get to work, app developer? What if someone is in a hurry, developer? You just want money.
1 ★Garbage. Used to be a good weather widget engine, now it throws crappy overlay notifications and ads over other apps just about every time you unlock your phone. Disabling all notification settings and revoking all permissions for all sub-apps doesn't fix this, I have no idea how they're doing it, but I'm done.
1 ★I have been trying to get one of these weather apps that will actually give me my town I live in Kokomo Indiana the closest it wants to come is Howard County or Indianapolis Indiana will let me change it to Kokomo Indiana I want my own time whether I want my own time humidity and I want my own time changing in the weather I want all of that stuff on there not just a tang and a time and a date
