In the epic Mahabharata, Drona or Dronacharya or Gurudrona was the royal preceptor to the Kauravas and Pandavas. He was a master of advanced military arts, including the divine weapons or Divya astras. Arjuna was his favourite student. The school is named after that great guru DHRONA in order to produce intellectuals like Arjuna.Dhrona Public School with all its might welcomes you. This educational institution is managed by UYIRMEI EDUCATIONAL TRUST which was registered in JAN 2013 (18.01.2013). DPS is a unique school with an innovative vision in the field of education and personal excellence. This school was started in June 2014 with the classes from PreKG to V std with the aim of upgrading to an Higher Secondary School. This is an English medium, co-education school following CBSE curriculum. The students' enrollment was 250 in the first year itself.
The school was started in the rural area with a purpose of rendering quality educational service to the rural community. Our main aim is to make even the rural poor people to get quality education.
DPS is not just a school. It is a place where humanity, Kindness, Knowledge, Intelligence, Secularism, Democracy and every virtue lie. It is a place where the children learn more practically about body, mind, world and the scientific developments. It is an abode for the children.
