O Escola.rio é o aplicativo da Prefeitura do Rio de Janeiro que dará aos responsáveis pelos alunos da Rede Municipal de Ensino uma ferramenta moderna para acompanhar seu processo acadêmico. Será o principal canal entre pais, alunos e escolas, onde diversos serviços estarão disponíveis de acordo com o interesse do usuário.Nessa versão do Escola.Rio os responsáveis poderão:
• Consultar os dados cadastrais da escola série e turma em que o aluno está matriculado;
• Consultar o calendário escolar do ano letivo;
• Consultar o cardápio geral oferecido aos alunos;
• Boletim Escolar e Frequência (as primeiras notas e frequência do ano letivo começarão a aparecer no aplicativo a partir do primeiro Conselho de Classe);
• Atividades Remotas;
• Contatar Escola;
• Internet Patrocinada.
Nos meses seguintes serão disponibilizados:
• Envio da Foto do Aluno;
• Notificações da Escola e da Secretaria Municipal de Educação para os responsáveis, onde eventos e demais ocorrências do interesse de pais e alunos serão informados;
• Acesso ao aplicativo pelos próprios alunos;
• Carteirinha Virtual do Aluno;
• Declarações Escolares Diversas;
