For some children, a predictable pattern of images on a computer screen using the same child’s voice has more impact than pictures on paper with changing adult verbal interactions. I recently evaluated a 3 year old child who was nonverbal. His parents said he only spoke 2 words: “mama” and “bye”. When presented with the Talk To Me 100®, he began exploring the board, pressing the symbols and listening to the words. I began using my version on the tablet, and he immediately began imitating my words by pressing the symbols on his device. What sometimes takes months of therapy to achieve, he was imitating words within a few minutes!!!

1 ★I won't give me all the words
5 ★This is not a game. It's a way that helps children who cannot speak have a voice. This is a step away from the technology that Stephen Hawkins uses to communicate and I cannot wait to hear our Grandson be able to speak words to us with this application, but you have to purchase the full version. Needs to be more affordable though. . The full version will give children with Apraxia of Speech the ability to communicate their needs and feelings. THANK YOU!!!!!

1 ★A typical 2 year old has TWICE the vocabulary the full version offers. If a child needs an AAC device long-term, you should get something they can grow into, so they don't have to relearn how to communicate because they switch devices - or worse yet, are arbitrarily limited to 100 words when they have so much more to say.
2 ★Not enough pictures; if they had at least 25 or more I would've gave 5 stars!!!
