這是一本圖文並茂的童話繪本有聲書。除了美麗的故事插圖以外，還有中文及英文共雙語真人發音，這些配音都是由專業的母語配音員所錄製，是培養兒童學習英文的有效工具。
『故事大綱』
醜小鴨，是安徒生童話其中的一個故事。由醜小鴨於小時醜陋變為長大後美麗的故事，說明「人不可貌相」的道理，因為只要肯努力，人所能發揮的潛力是極大的，就如醜小鴨的蛻變一樣，努力過後的人也有可能會使人有士別三日，刮目相看之感。
