5 ★I have played a few other word games along the same lines as this one. They were easier to find the words with and the hints were there most of the time. If ur looking for a challenge then don't hesitate to play this game. The words are a bit harder the longer U play. U buy hints with coins earned by completing puzzles a daily challenges. Not a bad game.
1 ★Was a good game till I somehow got logged out of my tablet. It made me sign in with FB and started everything over. I went on my phone and it kept my progress but took away all my coins. I was on level 214. Tried to contact and it says basically FB is the only way to sync. It asked if it was helpful, I said no, and it said to try again later. I lost over 2000 coins. Frustrating.
1 ★This game froze ( and locked up my phone) after nearly a year of playing, many hard-fought-for wins, and a high score I won't have the time again to duplicate. I cleared the cache, tried entering a private DNS, and confirmed that I'd run all available updates. The only solution was to uninstall and reinstall, starting back at the first level. I'm wondering if there are built-in glitches in this game (lol, of course there are) to force players to use the paid version.
1 ★Ok. I think I'm done with this. Now there's these little square ads with sound that pop up on the playing screen. Time for a new game. 🤷♀️ Really like the game. I bought a new phone and while the app transferred over my data didn't. I was very far in the game and now back to 2 and 3 letter words and rewards not coming after watching ads
2 ★The amount of ads is annoying. I downloaded this game which it is a fun game. However, after every level there is an ad with fake exes to close out so it keeps opening these other apps or takes me to download the app. In order to clear the ad, I have to completely close out the app and reopen it and it's just inconvenient
5 ★Out of about 20 similar word games I have tried, this is the best. Don't listen to the complete imbeciles that lie about the ads. You can turn off the ad sounds and IT'S CALLED A NO AD OPTION! Yes, it blocks out most ads except the ones you watch for extras. It cost a lot less than on most games too. Don't complain because you are cheap or ignorant. The tourneys are fun, but there should be only one a week, too much effort to maintain your standing. On Level 1020 and love it!
1 ★Doesn't matter what kind of phone or device you download the app on because the game stops working all the time since the last update. It freezes up since the audio ads have been added. Everyone who is writing a review is complaining about the same thing. I'm not going to email the details. The problem is the app.
1 ★Apps from the developer will be installed from the adds in the game. I noticed fakes I did not install on my phone. Then I noticed it happens every time I try to close an add while playing the game. App uses shady advertising practices. Pop up add asks you to update Word Trip to a newer version then takes you to another app from the developer.
3 ★Mediocre at best. Players should know beforehand that this uses British spellings, so words like "colour" and "inbuilt" are prevalent. Past a certain stage, words no longer appear in alphabetical order. Many puzzles seem to repeat. The percentage listed at the top of the screen is misleading and is far from correctly calculated.
3 ★I liked it a ton and would've given it a 5 stars. I got the update and now when I'm stuck on a word and it's the last word I find it just moves on without letting me check the definition from the congratulations screen and I never learn the new word. I will give it a 5 star if you put back the level dictionary in the congratulations/victory screen so I can learn.
2 ★Recently I had problems with freezing (which was resolved), however now there are ads IN THE MIDDLE OF A PUZZLE! Every other tap (no matter where it is on my phone) I'm taken to a website advertising whatever. I got used to an ad after every level, BUT IN THE MIDDLE OF A LEVEL? Come on PlaySimple, you're better than that.
1 ★So. Many. ADS. At least other word games (actually most games in general) give you the option to buy your way out of them. This game forces you to absorb ad content at the end of every puzzle. You don't even get the option to decline or at least a reward for watching. No thanks.
