Wali adalah grup musik asal Ciputat, Tangerang Selatan. Grup musik ini dibentuk pada tahun 1999. Anggotanya berjumlah 5 orang yaitu Faank (vokal), Apoy (gitar), Tomi (drum), Ovie (keyboardist), dan Nunu (bass). Semua personel band ini adalah lulusan pesantren dan sebagian merupakan alumni UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Sebelumnya, sang gitaris, Apoy pernah menjadi additional guitar dari grup musik Netral di album Oke Deh (2001).Album pertamanya ialah Orang Bilang yang dirilis pada tahun 2008. Band ini umumnya ber-genre lokal pop kreatif total dengan sedikit sentuhan irama melayu dalam lagu-lagu mereka. Lagu hit dalam album ini adalah Dik dan Egokah Aku yang menggunakan Shireen Sungkar sebagai model video klip. Lagu Dik yang merupakan andalan dengan memasukkan unsur pop cinta itu, tercatat berhasil menjadi RBT (ring back tone) bagi 1 juta pemilik telepon seluler hingga pertengahan Mei 2008. Ini menjadi barometer kesuksesan grup yang beranggotakan 5 pria itu.
