Este APP é do Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Direitos Culturais, resultante de uma semeadura havida em novembro de 2004 - a XVII Semana do Direito da Universidade de Fortaleza (UNIFOR) – durante a qual ganhou vida um lapso de rebeldia intelectual contra o pragmatismo que Brasil afora norteia o ensino jurídico.Do evento que tinha como tema Direito, Arte e Cultura surgiu esse Grupo que continua ativo e produtivo por mais de dez anos. Seus integrantes têm desenvolvido investigações sobre temas relacionados à ordenação constitucional da cultura no Brasil, patrimônio cultural, proteção à criação e produção cultural, relações de trabalho no espetáculo e incentivos e fomento à cultura. Atualmente, seu principal objetivo é construir meios que possibilitem um maior entendimento, conhecimento e discussão acerca dos direitos, deveres e garantias culturais.
