Description

Easy Crosswords has themed crossword puzzles that use dictionary words, not localized words nor acronyms. Clues are straightforward with no word play. Hints are free and unlimited.

Available hints include showing the next letter in a word, revealing all vowels or looking up the clue on the Internet.

Several themed puzzles are available or an infinite number of randomly created puzzles can be played. Puzzles can be standard size (15x15) or any size from 10x10 (easiest) to 18x18 (hardest).

A crossword is a puzzle which consists of a grid into which letters are placed to create words horizontally or vertically according to given clues.

5 ★Great passing time hints very handy

1 ★Ads pop up at the top of the game and block the upper answers also the keyboard is too large and you can not see the lowers letters due to another ad scrolling along the bottom.

3 ★This puzzle is not that easy!!!!

1 ★1. The game does not advance to the next clue. It backtracks to clues already answered. 2. Correctly answered squares are not locked, making it easy to overwrite. I voiced these same problems before to the game to the developer. Never got an acknowledgement, let alone a response. So I contacted them again directly via e-mail. Their "customer-service" reply - they don't respond to negative feedback. Haven't got the time. So I uninstalled.

2 ★The Letters are too large for the board, leaving us unable to see our words! Otherwise I love the game. If you fix the screen I will happily revise my rating to 5 stars. Then it would be perfect! Oh! I was able to verify it was the same issue on my tablet as well as my phone. Also, navigating through words is insanely hard. Too hard, esp when you cant see the words. I'm keeping it to see if they fix this. I do like the actual game. Thanks for listening. ☺ Peace! 🌼

5 ★I enjoy this game, it's completely free and you will never not be able to solve the puzzles because of the ' hints ' option.

4 ★Im enjoying playing its not to challenging but at the same time it can be very very challenging. People should try it they might find out that they'll like. I would have given a 5 star rate but, that would mean it's perfect! Lol hahahaha hahahaha Really, try it you will enjoy your self.

5 ★Easy Crosswords is a challenging game for seniors. The keyboard is very small on my phone. It would be nice if the navigation arrows would skip already entered words. I like that it is a small App. Having not used it long, I have not encountered any drawbacks.

4 ★Crosswords can be challenging and the hints are available in case you need help. There are some clues that are repeated in various crosswords and the clues sometimes don't always seem to fit the answers required. Otherwise, the puzzles seem to be OK.

4 ★I'm loving this game so far. It's a mellow way to pass time. It's fun to challenge yourself without using any hints. It's easy words so far. I'm wondering if it'll get any more challenging the higher each level you complete? It's definitely worth downloading.

5 ★Pretty good. Nice intuitive interface. Some of the words seem to be American English rather than English English though eg "Air Mask" rather than "Gas Mask", "EMT" rather than "Paramedic" etc, but it's not a major issue.
