Syaikh Mahir al Muaiqaly memiliki nama lengkap Mahir bin Hammad al-Manshur al-Muaiqaly.Beliau lahir pada tanggal 7 Januari 1969 dan merupakan seorang Imam di Masjidil Haram, Makkah. Syaikh Mahir (Maher) berasal dari Yanbu, di mana ayahnya, Hammad, berasal. Ayahnya merupakan anggota dari klan Muaiqaly dan merupakan anggota suku Balwa.
