Juz AmmaJuz Amma atau juz ke-30 merupakan juz dengan jumlah surat terbanyak di Al Quran. Di dalam Juz Amma terdapat 37 surat pendek yaitu diawali dengan surat An-Naba’ kemudian diakhiri oleh surat An-Naas. Sebagian besar surat-surat pendek ini merupakan surat Makkiyah atau surat yang diturunkan di kota Mekkah seperti surat Al-Ikhlas, Al-Kautsar, An-Naas dan lain sebagainya. sedangkan surat yang diturunkan di Madinah adalah surat Al-Bayyinah, surat Az-Zalzalah, serta surat An-Nasr.
Ciri surat yang diturunkan di Mekkah adalah surat tersebut pendek, mempunyai tatanan kalimat yang indah dan enak didengar, isi surat menyentuh, serta berisi ayat-ayat yang kuat dan tidak terbantahkan. Sedangkan karakteristik surat yang diturunkan di Madinah antara lain memiliki ayat yang panjang, memakai kalimat dan ungkapan yang menjelaskan syariah, biasanya membahas tentang hukum sehingga isi surat sangat mendalam dan kokoh.
Dari 37 surat-surat pendek di dalam Juz Amma terdapat satu surat yang memiliki ayat terbanyak yaitu Surat An-Nazi’at yang mempunyai 46 ayat. Sedangkan surat dengan ayat paling sedikit yaitu surat Al-Kautsar yang jumlah ayatnya ada tiga. Seluruh surat-surat pendek tersebut di bacakan setelah surat Al-Fatihah pada saat melaksanakan shalat baik yang wajib maupun sunnah.
