Двонасочниот Македонско-албански и Албанско-македонски Речник се подготви по покренатата многу мудра и ценета иницијатива на Нансен Дијалог Центар – Скопје и Канцеларијата на високиот комесар за национални малцинства при ОБСЕ.Овој Речник, кој содржи избран број лексеми, е грижливо направен првично да им послужи на најмладите, односно на учениците од основните училишта во Република Македонија, во кои се изведува настава по македонски јазик (во основните училишта со албански наставен јазик) и настава по албански јазик, како изборен предмет (во основните училишта со македонски наставен јазик). Но, сепак, Речникот е изготвен со цел да го олесни стекнувањето на албанскиот и /или македонскиот како немајчин или странски јазик и за поширок број корисници.
Fjalori dygjuhësh maqedonisht-shqip dhe shqip-maqedonisht është hartuar me iniciativën e organizatës joqeveritare Qendra Nansen Dialog – Shkup dhe Zyrës së Komisarit të Lartë për Pakicat Kombëtare të OBSE-së.
Të gjitha fjalët e përfshira në këtë fjalor janë përzgjedhur në mënyrë të veçantë dhe me shumë kujdes, për t`u shërbyer të rinjve-nxënësve të shkollave fillore të Republikës së Maqedonisë lidhur me lëndën e gjuhës maqedonase, si lëndë të obligueshme (në shkollat fillore në gjuhën shqipe) dhe lëndën e gjuhës shqipe, si lëndë zgjedhore (në shkollat fillore në gjuhën maqedonase).
