5 ★Edit: in order to make this the best app ever is only missing 2 things: 1- To practice the pronunciation with microphone, with feedback (pretty much like ELSA). 2- Social media support in what you can share your progress and make a learning competitions with your friends, like who learned more words per week. This app keeps improving, they added phrasal verbs and motion pictures to make a better mental connection with the words, the IA chat help looks promising. Love it, thanks WordUp team.❤
5 ★Why were games and subtitles for movies and TV series removed? It is also not interesting to use YouTube videos because this site is not available in some countries. The previous version was much better. Please make it possible to go back to the previous version. Thanks. ___________ Edit: Thank you for returning to the previous version. 4 ★An amazing way of improving your English. Word up offers it's users ways of assessing themselves as well as expanding their vocabulary exponentially. It's word games help users put their English skills to the test. However, the app does lack a charming appearance. In addition, the managing team at WordUp could make the app slightly more interactive

Many example sentences from YouTube and web articles really help to remember and understand the word in the context. This app really makes the most of modern technology and web information in the best possible way to learn English words, great! Update December 2023 All images seem to have been replaced with AI-generated ones. They are a bit creepy, weird and unnatural....
1 ★Personally I saw an ad and decided to download the app because I thought it would be productive but I couldn't even use the app. After filling in the start form I got to the part where it says the perfect vocabulary for your life means ... words and now I'm just stuck there. I don't know if there's supposed to be a button or something to take me to the actual app but for now until I get to experience the real thing I'm giving it a one star rating. Hope the devs can fix this issue
4 ★I subscribed because of the aggressive, annoying ads. If you can stand them, then keep using the app. If not, then buy it or find something else. I applaud the customer service for quick response, and I must say that I find the app useful. However, the reliance on AI generated images makes it less perfect and sometimes stupid. Just look how 'confide' is presented! Again, The aggressive payment push is pushing people away. A smart company considers customers first, so when they love it they buy.
5 ★The app is great and one of the most effective vocab building app I've come across. One thing I would suggest though if u can design the app to allow us to learn new words without having to first review all the old words you've learnt. it won't let you learn new vocabulary unless you have reviewed all the old word. you guys fix this and u will have a top app. ps I've already signed up for pro.
3 ★There are some points I wanna say: 1. This app lacks proper Vietnamese translation (to be honest, quiet poor translation) 2. The ambiguous subscription method. There are 3 options to choose. With 7 days trial option, they said no fees before Dec 11, but when I pressed okie, they instantly substracted money in my card. I felt being cheat. I want my money back.
1 ★Not a fan. Needs to be simpler to use. Something duolingo style would be great. Love the concept but not a fan of the app. Also can't even figure out how to cancel my subscription before the trial ends!!!
1 ★I have just installed and while some of the CG art is aggressively nightmarish in places, that's to be expected. When it's misleading information that's an issue. Just browsing I found more than one mistake, either in how words are used or just inaccurate information. It might provide a useful list of words you don't know but I wouldn't trust how accurate AI generated information anymore than I would trust the AI art.
1 ★I couldn't aee the app without taking the yearly subscription with the 7-day trial. I don't take anything, not even with trial without seeing it first. Already the fact that I had to reigster first makes me hate it. I think they are only collecting data and counting on users forgetting about the trial. Don't fall for them.

Won't allow a review to be written except in this box, the free sin up you need to enter card details to take up a free Pro for 7 days, then it renews automatically unless cancelled, be better if you could use app before being forced to enter payment details. If app is so good after using it you would want to go pro, instead of being forced to from the start. Avoid obviously the developers are not confident you will want to upgrade, so force you too on the hope you'll forget
