With the instructions of the prince and princess, your children will be inspired to explore the imaginary world to learn many new words. Many colorful and lively pictures will keep your child interested, which help them to study longer. Therefore, your children will intrinsically love exploring language and culture. There are two main parts: Topic Vocabulary and Cultural Corner.
In Topic Vocabulary, the reading program covers a total of 20 different reading topics with approximately 500 words and phrases for kids ranging from things at colors, shapes, body parts, household appliances, actions, fruits and vegetables to
wild animals, insects, meat and seafood, transportation, and clothes. Your children will follow the guidance of the beautiful princess to explore a mysterious jungle. The kids will stop at a time to explore a magic mushroom, which represents a unit of topic vocabulary. Here, your kids can get to know many familiar words in everyday life. Moreover, at the beginning of each unit, there is a big opening picture revealing a happy, meaningful or even a hilarious story including all actions and vocabulary being taught. These words are visualized and intentionally put in a context with an appropriate order. Plus, the vocabularies which have a close connection daily are arranged next to each other. This will assist children to quickly create a link between different vocabularies and then remember them better. Your kids will learn a lot more than just vocabulary and its meanings.
In Cultural Corner, your children will be led by a brave prince to venture into a mysterious cave. There are three parts to be explored: Special Occasions, National Flags, and Famous Places (more topics and lessons will be added). Firstly, children will have the opportunity to learn about common celebrations in the world, which are Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Halloween, and the Chinese New Year. Again, each picture of a celebration containing specific details will introduce the histories, traditional values, and customs of a certain country. This will be demonstrated through the caption below each picture. During the whole story, children also get to know about the value of family, develop a sense of morality and intercultural competence, and have more awareness of the similarities and differences across cultures characterized by a specific nation. Secondly, children also have a chance to know more about the national flags of different countries around the world. Lastly, famous places of different nations would be introduced. These all will help to boost children's geographical knowledge. Overall, Cultural Corner aims to train your kids to be global citizens in the future.
