Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

2 ★I've used this app for years to stream movies to my TV via a Chromecast dongle, controlling it using the Android app to start, pause and stop movies from the comfort of my living room. Then, a few months ago the Android app (the controller) stopped connecting to the PC app (the movie source). The Videostream team has been completely useless and nothing they have proposed solves the problem. Now, when I want to watch a movie I have to run upstairs to start/stop it on my PC.
2 ★Cannot pair phone and computer, subscription not recognized on computer, app seems abandoned. Works from computer to Chromecast but subtitles are half hidden.
1 ★I used this app daily, but since maybe a year ago it just stopped working. It simply won't pair with my computer. I am a premium user and have reached out to VS help many, many times, but nobody's been any help. I'm at my wit's end. PLEASE help me! (Yes, both devices are in the same Wi-Fi network and they're always less than one foot away from each other every single time I try pairing them.)
1 ★Stopped working on Android the day I upgraded to the lifetime license. Opened a support ticket and no response for two weeks. Don't bother with this. Just use Plex.
1 ★Bought the lifetime premium upgrade and it no longer appears. I've been trying to contact their customer service for a few years. No reply. Complete scam, save your money.
1 ★I purchased a lifetime subscription. Big mistake! It seems like over the last couple of years they've pretty much stopped supporting this app. It used to work great. No longer works anymore. You can't get compatibility out of most devices and when you try to contact support they don't help at all. In fact, you very rarely get a reply. And when they do reply it's an automated script. It's telling you do the same things that you've done a hundred times to try to fix it.. Don't waste your money!
5 ★###Fantastic my point result 2nice digitalAlh1
3 ★Don't works anymore
1 ★6 years with no updates. I bought the lifetime version lmao I'm so stupid. Edit: it won't let me log in with my account and their email just ignores us. It's over I think.
1 ★For years this WAS a great app. From my laptop, using the Windows app I can still cast a video to my Chromecast, but it no longer casts subtitles. From my Android phone, the app does nothing. It can no longer find my laptop so it can't cast anything. VLC is now the app I use. From my laptop or from my phone it casts videos that are stored on either device. It won't cast subtitles at all, which was the one advantage that Videostream had over VLC. Guess those guys from Canada retired.
