Kinder lernen die Uhrzeit ablesen, die Uhr stellen und Zeitunterschiede zu berechnen. Schritt für Schritt, in verschiedenen Schwierigkeitsstufen, sowohl auf Digitaluhren als auch auf Analoguhren. Auch Zeitangaben wie "es ist viertel vor fünf", "es ist elf Uhr dreiundvierzig" oder "Stelle die Uhr auf zehn Minuten vor elf Uhr" werden erlernt. Auf Wunsch wird die Uhrzeit vorgelesen.Die Schüler erlernen die Uhrzeit also von verschiedenen Gesichtspunkten:
- Ablesen der Uhrzeit von der Analoguhr und der Digitaluhr
- Zeitvergleich von Analoguhr und Digitaluhr
- Verbale Uhrzeitangaben, schriftlich und gesprochen
- Uhrzeiten einstellen;
- Die Zeitunterschiede zwischen zwei Analoguhren bzw. Digitaluhren berechnen.
Nach einer kurzen Einführungsphase durch die Lehrer können die Schulkinder weitgehend selbständig lernen. Zur Lernkontrolle kann ein Bericht der erledigten Aufgaben angezeigt werden.
