Produced for primary and secondary school teachers and their students, the content has been developed by New Zealand's leading science educators, scientists and research organizations. The focus is on providing real life, authentic examples of science in action based on our world-class national science curriculum.
Download the app, and discover over 37 Contexts and 20 Science Stories.
Each Context is supported by a library of articles, research stories, image galleries, videos shot on location around New Zealand, learning interactives and animations, as well as glossaries, and teaching and learning activities.
Each Science Story focuses on a part of the science world - including profiles and comments from some of the people and organisations leading the thinking in their field.
The NZ Science Learning Hub is managed by the Faculty of Education of a leading New Zealand university, the University of Waikato. It is funded by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE).
