Learn Alphabets is the best app for learning English language alphabets.
The app uses a variety of colors and shades and combines them with nice touches of animation to provide an engaging experience to the user, whether a child or a grown-up, while learning the alphabets.
The app provides the following 'three' learning experiences -
1. Alphabets Option: Tap, hear and learn alphabets
- Tap the 'Alphabets' option on the main screen to see all the alphabets.
- Try both "portrait" and "landscape" orientations and use the one that feels more comfortable. In the "landscape" orientation", the alphabet boxes shall appear wider/bigger and hence more suitable for tapping thus providing a better learning experience.
- Tap an alphabet box to hear the sound of the tapped alphabet.
✦ Tap each box to hear and learn the way each alphabet is spoken.
2. Alphabets + Option: Tap, hear, see and learn alphabets
- Tap the 'Alphabets +' option on the main screen to see all the alphabets.
- Again, try both "portrait" and "landscape" orientations and use the one that feels more comfortable.
- Tap an alphabet box to not just hear the sound of the tapped alphabet but also see the tapped letter in a much bigger font. The letter is also animated for a better and more engrossing experience for kids.
✦ Tap either the animated letter or the Back button on your phone/device to go back to the Alphabets screen.
As one progresses through the stage of learning alphabets, the app also has the additional feature of learning about a word for each of the alphabets. This learning experience is enabled through the "Alphabets ++" interface.
3. Alphabets ++ Option: Tap, hear, see and learn both alphabets and words
- Tap the 'Alphabets ++' option on the main screen to see all the alphabets.
- Again, try both "portrait" and "landscape" orientations and use the one that feels more comfortable.
- Tap an alphabet box to not just hear the sound of the tapped alphabet but also see the tapped letter in a much bigger font. As the letter is animated, a picture along with the sound of the word representing the picture is also played. The animated letter and picture are shown alternately, and the sound of the letter and the word are played respectively as and when each one appears on the screen.
