Mojar School ( an Odommo Bangladesh Foundation initiative ) Works For Street Child, Ensure Food - Education - Technology Support .“Mojar School”, a totally nonpolitical, non-profitable organization consists of young generation, has been working with the street children since 10 January, 2013, under the open sky. At present, it is a registered organization of Bangladesh which takes efforts of different kinds of developing programs with the street children at different time.
From the very beginning, “Mojar School” is focused on 2 kinds of work. One, to make the street children, who are created due to social decadence in our society, interested in education by treating them with love and affection. Not only education, but also food, primary medical checkup, different sports for their recreation, new clothes in different occasion along with the two Eid festival; oil, soap, shampoo etc. for their cleanliness, showing videos collected from YouTube to make them aware of bad effect of drug-addiction, taking part in children filmfare, showing their own photos of past activities on the giant screen so that they can be amused to see them in big picture. These are the kinds of work “Mojar School” has been doing with great care for the past two years. Two, There are such children who are fled from home, or lost and stayed in Komolapur Rail station or in Sadarghat launch terminal, unable to return, even unaware of taking help from other people. There are some children who fled from home in anger or after stealing a little amount of money. We are trying to send them back home who are victim of these kind of circumstances. A child suits the best in its mother’s lap, and a mother alone can feel the loss of his children. So we are always keenly eager to send back those child home and we have succeeded in doing so in the past. Till now, we have been able to send 2 children to their parents from Shahbag and Komolapur School, and we hope that Mojar School will be able send many more children back home.
