Zone Champaign is a project dedicated to revisiting the zoning codes that help define the City of Champaign. The ultimate goal of this project (what we need your help with!) is to develop a brand new zoning district specially crafted to help guide desirable growth and development in the areas located in and around Downtown, Midtown and Campustown. This newly developed ‘Urban Neighborhood Zoning District’ will provide land use and form regulations, consistent with the vision of the 2011 Comprehensive Plan, that encourage medium density residential opportunities with desirable urban form.The free Zone Champaign Mobile App allows you to interact, provide feedback, view documents, and stay up-to-date on project news. The project app will be compatible on mobile phones, tablets, Apple, and Android devices.
