5 ★Definitely has a nostalgic feel of Chrono Trigger (considering the writer behind this title). Music is mostly heart-string puller, and combat is more or less traditional jrpg with a mobile config in mind. It works for the most part, making navigation fairly easy. Inever experienced a game like this that would have me on my phone for multiple hours (so far). Well done.
5 ★I genuinely don't have enough space to type out how marvelous this game truly is. This is easily the best mobile game experience I've ever had. The controls are super fluid and intuitive, the art is absolutely breathtaking, and the story is magnificent so far. If this game were to be released on the Switch but upscaled thanks to a better console, I'd be first in line. I'm begging you as a consumer, please consider turning this into a full on franchise! This is the future for Chrono trigger fans!
5 ★Another Eden is a terrific game. The simple move controls, and simple TurnBased battles make this game very enjoyable. I love having to just select everyone's move at once, and then watching the battle play out. Chrono Stones don't seem to be a problem, and I love how every Hero has the potential to become great. Overall, a great game with great gameplay.
5 ★Best mobile turned based RPG that is as deep as any console RPG. Amazing gameplay, story, graphics, animation, music, variety of enemy designs and environments, huuuge bosses, etc. There is a lot of attention to detail. Great characters who all have their own quests. Theres always something new to find and do and secrets to be discovered. Free content like more story DLCs. Game provides hours upon hours of entertainment. If there is one RPG to have on your phone, this is it! - BlueAmnesia
4 ★Solid single player classic turn based rpg. Beautiful sprites with pretty good animation. The gacha mechanic is fully unnecessary. Nice music. Story feels a little like Star Ocean, although it is a bit hollow. Progression is very linear; the maps are literally just cooridors with two real directions of movement. It's a decent game, and I'm mostly enjoying it, but it could be a lot better. There needs to be some multiplayer modes or dailies or something to keep people logging in.
5 ★Absolutely wonderful game!! Everything about it is perfect to me. The story, the gameplay, and the graphics are all superb. Also, the really nice transition when entering or leaving battle along with the really fast pace battle scenes make grinding entirely tolerable. As someone who hates grinding this is incredibly helpful. Thank you devs for making this game!!
1 ★Tried to start playing this again after switching to new phone. It located my saves. Standard Download hits 99.98% then gets stuck and i get error code 8. Cleared cache and storage, uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled. It didn't work. There's no way for me to get my 5 star characters and chronos stones back. I'm not about to start this game over from scratch and definitely not planning on paying through the nose a second time at the whims of the RNG. Unless there's a fix, I'm done with this.
2 ★As a game as far as game play goes, I love this game. The artwork, music, story and game play is amazing. Gacha rates are decent with the pull rates for good characters and devs are generous with packs and giveaways. Definitely free to play with all IAPs definitely optional and not needed. As an app software as far as the technical aspect goes, it's a horrible mess with it's updates and transferring saves. No Google Cloud saves. No using Play Store to download the huge initial download and updates. Have to download within the game and wear down my battery only to have it fail at 10% or 99.98% multiple times. I tried to transfer my save data that was linked with my Facebook account and it transferred the save data but broke downloading the data, after I already had to sit through the game downloading the data (which is really slow). Why?! So frustrating! I would rate this 4 or 5 Stars but right now it's unplayable for me unless I start over from the beginning, which I really don't want to do. When devs fix it, I'll definitely update my review because I really do love the game itself. It's a shame due to it's technical shortcomings I can't enjoy it.
5 ★Absolutely incredible game. Slightly reminiscent of Final Fantasy (in the best ways possible!!) but SO original and exciting. Easily the best mobile game I've ever played, and to be honest, better than most console RPGs that I've played in a long while. The graphics, art, and gameplay are AMAZING. Also, I love that it is easily played through without having to buy anything or having any kind of ads shoved down your throat. Just a genuinely awesome game. I am addicted!!!!
5 ★This is truly a great game. Theb graphics ate great and the controls are really good. you can use the entire screen to move your character. Hte storyline is well written and involves time travel ^^. My onky suggestion to the devs is to move the the menu from the bottom left to the bottom middle to the screen so that it's easier to move the character around.
5 ★without a doubt THE BEST turn based RPG for an android phone. Art, music, combat, and plot have all been executed to near perfection. and all with NO STANIMA BARS OR PAY TO WIN, AND NO ADDS!!! There is a gotcha element to building your team but drop rates are pretty good. Plus each character has their own side quests and background story. REMINDS ME A LOT OF CHRONO TRIGGER. I have played through the game that is currently available and am anxiously awaiting the next installment to the main plot.
5 ★NOTE: MY EXPERIENCE UPON WRITING THIS REVIEW WAS JUST AFTER CHAPTER 5 This game has been amazing so far, especially when you consider that this is a free to play. Good music and visuals. Fantastic story, considering it came from the same person who wrote Chrono Trigger! Easy to use controls. And most of all no intrusive Microtransactions. They still exist, but the game doesn't bombard you with adverts or with challenges that need you to spend money to complete. i highly recommend this game
