Asbury has a staff of committed and caring educators who have high expectations for all students. As a staff, we are engaged in ongoing staff development and conversations related to student work to maximize learning for all.
Asbury has a wonderful support community. We offer a broad range of volunteer opportunities for parents and welcome their participation. The Asbury parents work to ensure the best for the students, staff and each other. Upon entering our school, parents can be seen working with students, helping teachers andor office staff. We also partner with the University of Denver and Metro to provide opportunities to have student teachers in the classrooms.
There are many ways that Asbury is unique, but one of our greatest strengths is the way the families, community and staff work to develop the whole child. Our community supports our students through a variety of after school programs that broaden the experiences of our students. We offer specials in Music, Art, PE and Technology. We support our students with character education to help develop them as well. It is the goal of our character education program to teach students life long skills enabling them to grow to be caring and responsible citizens.
