Description

Do you want to go sailing, windsurfing, biking, kting, drone flying or just out of the door? This application shows the current local outdoor wind speed (in beaufort, mph, km/h, m/s and knots) and direction, measured by a nearby weather station for which it uses your current location.

Features:
- the background color changes with the wind speed
- the direction of the wind is shown on a live compass
- change between different wind speed units (beaufort, mph, km/h, m/s, knots)
- The wind is automatically updated every hour

3 ★This app picks a location for you. I live in Lodi, CA but the location says youngtown, CA. Before it said Lodi, CA. I can't pick my closest location.

1 ★The idea for this app is great, if you are interested in getting wind information this should provide that information, but it doesn't, first of all 90% of the time doesn't provide wind information, is blank with the compass needle alway pointed at magnetic north, although the north is most of the time in the wrong direction, I travel on a daily basis and I am always checking the weather conditions and in particular wind speeds and direction, wind gust is not an option, too bad.

1 ★Doesn"t work at all after last update. It just keeps saying getting wind...and never actually shows the wind speed. The weather app on the phone shows the wind speed more accurately. I just want to know the wind speed so I can fly rc helicopters and planes. This one doesn't do it...

4 ★Helps a lot with sailing. A bit hard to use when the phone is not flat.

2 ★The reason why i am giving 2 stars is because when i set the app to give me the wind forcasts for my current location it gave a reading of 28km/h or 15knots while there were almost no wind at all ! A wind forecast function is also needed.. Please address this ussiue as soon as possible and i will rate it 5 stars :) positive critisicm

1 ★I can tell direction of wind where I am NOW. I need to know wind direction and such where I plan on going. Needs to be able to display wind information in places you mark on a map. Or at least by zip code.
