5 ★Learning, On the go! Unless youre young and have all the time in the world... learning a new skill like coding can be rough.. that's why I like how easy this app is to use! I just downloaded a couple days ago and took a trip out of state; it was so nice to be able to work through the exercises and learn a little here and there during my travels. And if that wasn't awesome enough, they even have an online community and an offline feature. Really top notch stuff. Thank's devs!
4 ★This app was extremely useful, and was easy to understand. The learning part had no concerns for me, rather the parts of the UI and app itself. Sometimes, , the buttons didn't even function at all, forcing an app restart. In addition, I wanted to set a custom avatar, which required storage permission. When I went to said menu, storage wasn't even an option, meaning that no part of the app needed permission, even though it obviously did. Overall, a solid app, that just needs a little tinkering!
5 ★This app reminds me of a coding version of duolingo. However that doesn't do it justice. This app makes me feel more motivated to continue onto the next set of studying because each block is relatively short (approx 3-5 questions per) and you can see the next blocks that you have left. It doesn't feel overwhelming or make you feel like you're not getting anywhere. That's what I think this app has over the other ones. And if you do have to pause, you can easily bookmark it. 5/5
5 ★Firstly, I really want to thank the team for creating an amazing app so that we can learn coding for free, there are no issues regarding the performance and stability of the app. However, one thing I would like you to consider is adding the next level of courses for each coding language after completing the 'Intermediate' level course, so that users can enjoy more of that language.
3 ★Only just started using this app, seems pretty good so far! However, I have noticed it is a little basic and easy, although I told it I am experienced in code. EDIT: the developers appear lazy now, the coding area has several popups in the way of the code, even the run button is impossible to press. Unsubscribing from Pro and finding an alternative soon. Way to make a great app.
4 ★The app is ace so I paid the subscription. However I'd like to see more optional exercises, repetitive learning to ram it home - a code 'playground' rinse and repeat until a concept clicks. It goes from easy to impossible and tasks often involve concepts that haven't been learned yet, which is very discouraging (and wastes stars in the free version). The AI is very useful as are user comments! It's so close to being perfect, like what Duolingo did for languages, but just not quite there yet...
2 ★Some of the courses are okay. Most of them are bugged in some way and never get fixed and so you have to rely on community comments in order to find solutions to problems sololearn create To make it worse, some courses feature little information on complex subjects and the corresponding exercises are always about fixing single lines of code, often with "print" commands or equivalents. You rarely if ever, have to write code from scratch which would be far more beneficial...
5 ★This app is actually very convenient for newbie programmers like me. Although there are parts that are frustrating just like others said, the problems there is coming from the coder who doesn't read the instructions very carefully. Sometimes there are bugs that makes the app weird but I believe most of those are fixed. Great app nonetheless 👍👍👍
3 ★I will never support a subscription based payment for something other than a car, house, or other loan - it's not necessary. Let me pay £100 or something for permanent access and be done with it. The app, however, is still very good. Some questions are not explained very well, but the comment system operated by users does fill in where the devs forgot to explain something. Perhaps the order of the courses is not ideal as understanding certain elements is a prerequisite to moving to others.
2 ★I tried force closing the app, deleting the cache, and only after restarting my phone, I got past the splash screen to the login screen. I then selected login with Google, which just gives me a message that "something went wrong, without any indication of what specifically went wrong. Tried signing up with my email but it says it's already registered, so tried resetting but it says it isn't registered! Which one is it? The app itself might be amazing, but I can't login to use it.
3 ★I downloaded this after trying mimo in the hopes of learning python. The intro to python course was great, like duolingo for coding but with lessons as well as quizzes and call back questions, but this stopped when I went onto the next course, python intermediate, where it didn't teach in the same way. It appears to describe a function and then expects you to answer questions working with the function. I continue to try and use the app but it's not fun anymore.
1 ★The app is alright, it's giving the basic knowledge but the issue is there's a bug. A equal mark is stuck on the screen and it's there even when u lock the screen/change apps. You have to restart the phone to get it removed. Even clearing cache won't do it. I don't want to use the app due to this bug.
