Tacuarembó Fm llego para hacer evolucionar el concepto de radio en la zona norte del país, logrando de esta forma destruir los patrones que hacían de la radio una radio aburrida, tediosa.Con este nuevo formato se ha hecho de la radio además de un medio más atractivo comercialmente, una forma nueva de llegar a la gente, ser parte de ellos, identificarse con cada uno, logramos que la radio sea parte de las distintas generaciones.
Actualmente el perfil de la emisora está enfocado a la promoción, difusión e información de los valores culturales, sociales, deportivos de nuestra ciudad y el departamento, como así también la difusión y promoción de trabajos musicales de artistas locales, nacionales e internacionales, en su gran mayoría correspondientes al género latino.
Por lo tanto estamos abocando a perfeccionar la nueva reestructura de la emisora, donde hasta el momento hemos tenido una gran aceptación por la audiencia debido al gran alcance por aire a toda la ciudad.
Estos logros han dado lugar a la aceptación, permanencia y renovación de la audiencia que escucha nuestros programas, hechos justificados por la participación de los oyentes a través de nuestras líneas de comunicación, lo que permite que podamos conocer las necesidades, inquietudes y difundir la cultura de nuestra sociedad, cometido específicos de un medio de comunicación con tal magnitud, que trabaje en pro de la comunidad.
