Description

MusePad lets you record your musical ideas on the go, with your phone or tablet, enabling you to write simple melodies or complex chords / rhythm patterns. It's perfect for musicians, students and music enthusiasts who want to write their ideas quickly, analyze and communicate them effectively.

MusePad uses a piano roll style grid for displaying notes, and a piano keyboard for input. You enter the notes using the piano and they appear on the note grid. After that, you can delete notes directly on the grid, or add more notes tapping on the grid.

At any time, you can play your song from any starting position. When playing, current note(s) will be lit both on note grid and piano keyboard, following the notes with a smooth scroll movement. You will love to watch the music play!

Features:
- Note grid with diatonic / chromatic modes and key signature
- Input notes with the piano keyboard, or placing them directly on the grid
- Polyphonic piano input (in multitouch devices) with 8 octaves, scrollable in small devices
- Unlimited undo / redo for correcting mistakes
- Playback with highlighting of notes in grid and piano
- Full navigation on the note grid, with pan & zoom
- Save and load songs, or export them as MIDI
- Cut / Copy / Paste / Transpose

Multiple screen size configurations are available. Screen size is set initially to match your device's size, but you may use the big screen setting on a small device (using a pointer to help you press the tiny buttons) or the small screen setting on a big device.

Try before you buy! You can download the Lite version of MusePad, which has all the features of MusePad (except load, save and export).

More features will be added in the future. Stay tuned and enjoy MusePad!

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

1 ★Not worthy for the rate and need refund... Not suitable for Android 11 and it looks very worse....
4 ★I think this app is awesome and I have encountered very little issues. There is one small bug where when you open a song without saving the current one and then try to open another, it shows the prompt to save again, even when there are no changes, and this does not stop happening until you save again. Is the use of triplet notes planned for the future??
5 ★This is very useful app... exporting midi file is really very helpful
5 ★Good for writing down musical ideas.
3 ★I'd like this app a lot more if it wasn't so iffy and glitchy in most of my sessions. Sometimes the red bar won't move after placing down some notes until I hit something else, while undoing, for some strange reason, an unrelated note will disappear, sometimes the keys disappear while playing too even though they're there. I'd also like to know about the Export option. Why doesn't it work? I hear people talking about it and how it works, but only one song I have actually got exported. When I hit the export button, it only takes me back to the song I was working on. I dunno what's wrong with it or what to do. I'd really like to give this a higher rating because I find it actually quite enjoyable, but it ruins the purpose of really doing anything if you can't share it with others, in my opinion. The only way I really can -except for that one song- is that I'd have to go to my friends and show them myself. If MIDI Export was fixed and some of the glitches could be resolved, I'd give it 5 stars. And seriously, update or fix your game. It's been 3 years.
5 ★Simple interface to write musical ideas down; exporting to midi is useful, wish it had a few things such as copy and paste between files and a way to import simple midi files. Other than those two requests, it's a simple, easy to use music editor.
4 ★Like the grid approach, a lot
3 ★Hi, I like this app. Needs midi import option. Midi export works fine. Thanks. God bless. Aaron.
5 ★This is THE best midi sequencer on android.
5 ★I opened this app and tapped the keyboard, my eyes almost popped out~it was already transcribing the notes!?! No menus to navigate? No 'new tracks' to name? It was just like, there and ready to play... It was amazing!!
